Along with industry partners IHAVEANIDEA and the Tomorrow Awards, we present to you, ‘The Engagement Directive’, a global digital media creative competition. With three official phases and $15,000 in prizes, the contest kicks off Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Phase One: an open creative call that allows anyone and everyone to take a stab at creating artwork for a VOS advertising campaign. What is VOS? Our video overlay solution (a quick, easy, and cost effective platform for creating super cool rich media and video based online advertising campaigns). Each contest submission will be themed around one of seven participating brands including Family Guy, Glee, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Rocawear, Graffiti6, and Weekly World News. There’s also a free-for-all option for those who choose to walk on the wild side. View the creative briefs here.
Phase Two: Finalists in each category will be selected by a panel of judges based on the creativity of their submissions and adherence to the brand’s specifications. The 8 finalists’ concepts will be assembled into fully-functional VOS ad units and will run live on Casale Media’s ad network, MediaNet. Each campaign will receive one million impressions across which to prove how effective its creator’s concept is at engaging the campaign’s intended audience.
Phase Three: a grand prize winner will be awarded to the VOS campaign that sparks the most engagements (interactions, video plays, view time, etc.) while achieving the brand’s media goals.
